Job Description
We are seeking a Qualified Mechanic in our busy shop in Morayfield QLD. Full time position available.
The Role
Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and provide accurate repair recommendations.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Repair or replace faulty parts, components, or systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment and software to aid in troubleshooting and repair.
Follow manufacturer guidelines and technical specifications for all repair and maintenance procedures.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair options, costs, and timelines.
Uphold high standards of quality and safety in all work performed.
Stay current with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Collaborate with other team members, including technicians, service advisors, and parts specialists, to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Must be qualified
Proven experience as a mechanic, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
