The Role
Select appropriate wood materials based on project specifications and quality standards.
Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, and planers.
Assemble cabinets, shelves, drawers, and other wooden components using fasteners, adhesives, and specialized techniques such as joinery.
Install hardware, including hinges, handles, and knobs, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
Sand, stain, and finish wooden surfaces to achieve desired appearance and texture.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Must be willing to live in Australia or Must relocate to Australia (Campbellfield Melbourne)
Experience
Proficiency in reading blueprints, sketches, and design plans.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and machinery.
Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble wood components.
Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
