Dinosaur Designs is the home of Australia’s premium handmade homewares and jewellery collections. With nearly forty years of experience we run a dynamic warehouse from our factory in Sydney’s Redfern.

Our Dispatch Coordinator oversees all goods into and out of our head office. As part of a collaborative workspace, you’ll be working closely with Warehouse and Wholesale manager, you’ll be a team player with the ability to manage staff where needed to ensure deliveries are dispatched on time and in full and that goods received into the building are checked and signed off within given time frames.

The Role


  • Receiving of all deliveries into the building ensuring they’re undamaged and delivered in full

  • Dispatch of all items out of the building ensuring they’re packed in a manner that prevents damage and shipped in full with all documentation, in a timely manner

  • Deliver all items to relevant departments around the building

  • Coordinating retail store deliveries as per the weekly delivery schedule

  • Shipping international deliveries both inter-company and to stockists

  • Raise international shipping invoices

  • Dispatch local and inter-state deliveries

  • Assist in maintaining the warehouse in an organised and accurate manner and assist with stocktakes / rolling stocktakes as required

  • Monitor the accurate tagging of goods and stock transfer to all stores

  • Regularly assess and maintain appropriate stock levels in all stores as directed

  • Compliance with all WHS procedures

  • Check all returns from stores

  • Assist with allocation of stock to stores and wholesale, including store needs lists and customer requests, and pick and pack.

  • Liaise with staff with regard to product and display needs

  • General administration tasks in regard to sales orders

  • Monitor supplies of stationery and dispatch items

  • Sign off and check invoices as required

  • Coordinate and assist with all dispatch and goods receivable procedures

  • Monitor use of and replenishment of packing materials

  • Meet and greet visitors and contractors


Requirements



  • Fit and can lift 20kg boxes on a regular basis

  • Full, clean driver’s licence

  • Will need to be flexible with hours to accommodate early or late pick-ups or deliveries during busy periods

  • Visa or work permit allowing permanent, full-time work in Australia


Will need to be present from beginning of December until Christmas eve (no annual leave during this period).
