Job Description


Little Grommets is a Family Owned and Operated service located in Tweed Heads currently seeking a suitable candidates for an Early Years Teacher, Lead Educators.


The service is 101 place operating with four rooms; Nursery, Toddler, Kindy and Preschool all large and spacious rooms with a qualified chef that provides children with nutritious and healthy meals for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. 


We are seeking employees that are interested in Childcare as a career not just "a job", availability to work Monday - Friday and can work between the hours of 6:30am - 6:30pm (the service operating hours). 


The successful applicant will possess a passion for high quality care and education and join our team on a permanent and long term basis. See the following criteria below: 


Early Childhood Teacher



  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood (or equivalent) with NSW Teacher Registration

  • Working with Children Check

  • First Aid and CPR, including Asthma and  anaphylaxis training

  • Respond to Young Children at Harm Cert.

  • A passion and enthusiasm for learning

  • A desire to create warm and inviting learning spaces for children

  • Be able to mentor, lead and enhance a great team environment

  • Knowledge of current regulations, NQS and Early Years Learning Framework

  • Experience in the role is preferred but not essential.

Lead Educator 



  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Cert 3 and working towards diploma

  • Working with Children Check
