Machine Operator/Forklift Driver | Eastern Creek | 10 hours shifts | ASAP Start

Libera Personnel are on the hunt for "Machine Operators/Forklift Drivers" to join work for our clients steel manufacturing team based in Eastern Creek.

The positions available are on the morning shift (5am to 3pm), Monday to Friday, so you will get paid time 2 hours time and a half each day you work.

The Job

• You will be operating a steel roll form machine (training provided)


• Setting up the machine with flat coils of steel


• Programming the machine 


• Stacking finished product from the conveyor belt to a pallet


• Strapping and securing steel to a pallet


• Operating a forklift to move pallets into pallet racking and bringing flat coils to your machine


• Operating an overhead crane to load your machine

All training will be provided however you must possess the following to be considered;

• Must hold a current LF Forklift licence


• Have a minimum of 1 years forklift driving experience within a manufacturing environment


• Preferably have roll form/steel manufacturing experience or similar


• Overhead crane experience


• Must be physically capable for manual handling duties (some of the steel lengths can weigh up to 20 kgs)


• Must have your own car for work


• Must be able to work 10 hour shifts (Monday to Friday)
