About us

Kobe Jones Rocks Teppanyaki (since 1992) combines modern Japanese cuisines with attentive service, in a heritage building, to provide great experiences for staff and customers alike. We serve upmarket japanese teppanyaki (we do not throw food) and strive to deliver a high quality interactive dining experience for our customers. We seek a vibrant self starter looking to advance their skills and deliver high quality didining in ways not experienced by customer before and be part of a tema in a very busy restaurant team.

Qualifications & experience

• Experience as a cook in a commercial cookery environment at high quality standard, with a experience in teppanyaki cookery an advantage


• knowledge of Japanese food & condiments


• Advanced knife & spatula skills


• Precision with cooking times & temperatures of different food types (seafood, meat, vegetables)


• English language skills required due to high level of corporate English and Asian-language speaking clientele


• Good customer service attitude
