Based in the Northern Regions of South Australia, Gadaleta Steel Fabrication delivers projects for clients across the infrastructure, mining and industrial sectors.

We are a Structural/Mechanical and Crane Hire business providing a full range of steel fabrication, procurement, project construction/maintenance solutions and crane hire to clients.

Full time, Permanent position is available for a FIRST CLASS WELDER to work in both our Port Pirie and Whyalla branches.

Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

• With Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade;


• Sound skill in the welding processes such as GTAW, SMAW, FCAW and MMAW;


• Able to weld on different positions including 6G position;


• Strong understanding of shop detail drawings and isometrics;

At least 5 years experience with:

• Structural and mechanical works including steelworks, pipe works, and plate works


• Stainless Steel and mild steel fabrication


• Mining or oil and gas industry;

Able to complete and pass a welding qualification text in 6G position on pipe;

Willing to work in workshop and travel to client sites;

Strict compliance with company policies and procedures;

With current driver’s license;

Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements;

Dedicated to safety and quality standards
