Job Description
INTERIOR DESIGN/OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
Island Quality Homes is a Tasmanian owned and operated company specialising in the design and construction of new homes and other civil work.
We have a permanent part time position available for a person experienced in Interior Design & Administration.
The main duties include but are not limited to:
Interior Design
Assisting clients with Colour & Product Selections
Maintaining/Recording Selection Notes
Preparing Plumbing & Electrical Plans
Preparing Specification Folders for Sub-Contractors
Liaising with Sub-Contractors & Supplier
Office Administration
Accounts Receivable & Payable
Bank Reconciliations
General Ledger Controls, Maintenance and Journal Entries
Reconciliation of Bank Accounts/Credit Card/Loan Accounts/Leases
Payroll
The successful applicant will be expected to assist with other duties including estimating, obtaining quotations, supply orders and other general office duties.
Skills and Experience
Whilst formal qualifications are not necessary they would be considered along with appropriate experience including the Microsoft Business Suite, Word & Excel Knowledge of the building industry and or the use of Databuild software would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be available to the successful candidate.
