Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for Community Support Professionals to join our Northern Rivers team. About the role

You will make the most of your own passions to help our clients' bring their personal goals and projects to life. As part of a team focused on delivering great experiences, you will support and assist our clients to do what they love, help create household routines, support clients in social environments, aid with personal care, perform domestic duties and provide all-round high quality care.

You will have experience and a genuine interest in working alongside people with a disability and have a commitment to motivating our clients to achieve personal goals leading to further independence and enjoy supporting people to be active, inclusive participants in their community.

Skills and experience

• Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance


• Have experience with Manual Handling (e.g. Hoisting)


• Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation


• Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments


• Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment including: standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets or moving boards, hearing aids and other physical aids


• Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs/behaviors 


• Providing support for people with physical and intellectual disabilities


• Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
