Multiple Positions Available

We are looking for keen, confident, reliable and experienced Industrial Painters / Powder Coaters to join our team in Laverton North.

As an Industrial Painter / Powder Coater, you will prepare and coat fabricated steel components to specification, from pre-treatment and masking through to application, curing and final inspection.

The work involves applying protective coatings to structural and architectural steel products destined for infrastructure projects, where consistency, quality and attention to detail are essential.

The Role
Your duties will include:

• Preparing fabricated steel components for coating
• Pre-treatment, masking and surface preparation
• Applying powder and industrial protective coatings
• Operating electrostatic spray equipment for powder coating
• Industrial painting using pressure pot and airless spray equipment
• Curing and finishing coated components
• Conducting final quality inspections
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following specifications and workplace safety procedures

About You

The successful applicants will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial painting and/or powder coating
• Experience with electrostatic spray application
• Experience using pressure pot and/or airless spray equipment
• Good understanding of surface preparation and coating processes
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and positive approach to work
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to quality and workplace safety
