About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plastic Injection Moulding Die Setter to join our production team. You’ll be responsible for setting and changing injection moulds, ensuring optimal machine performance, and maintaining high-quality production output.

Responsibilities

• Installation of moulds in injection moulding machines ranging from 100 to 360 tonne
• Set up and changeover injection moulding machines
• Ensure machines are operating efficiently and safely
• Troubleshoot and resolve any machine or moulding issues
• Perform quality checks on produced parts
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces
• Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams

Key skills and Qualification

• Living in Australia with an easy reach to Meadowbrook, Logan Qld
• At least 5 years experience in injection moulding , with experience in 3 axis and 6 axis robots preferred… a knowledge in all types of plastic material
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
