About the role

We are seeking an Assembly Worker Installer to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis at our Bankstown facility. This is a hands-on position that plays a crucial role in our production operations. As an Assembly Worker Installer, you will be responsible for assembling components, cutting and bending. This role is essential to maintaining our operational efficiency and delivering excellence to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble stainless steel components according to drawings
• Using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on tools and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and workplace procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and any issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of assembly work completed
• Adhere to production schedules and meet daily targets

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in assembly or manufacturing environments, preferably in process work or installation roles
• Strong proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions accurately
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision
• Capability to work efficiently to meet production deadlines and targets
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a manufacturing environment
• Reliability and strong attendance record
• Willingness to learn new processes and develop skills on the job
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in assembly or manufacturing are advantageous

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 3.30pm – Friday 7.00am to 1.00pm
