We are seeking an Experienced Beekeeper with an HC Truck licence for work in Gundagai.   SERIOUS AND EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS ONLY.  Must be living in Australia (prepared to live in the Gundagai area).  48 hours per week.  Above award.  Experience will be valued. Immediate start. Must be able to load and unload beehives.

The duties and responsibilities of the position will be as follows:

• Harvesting and extracting Honey
• Brood Nest management operations
• Inspecting bee sites for good breeding conditions and honey production
• Effectively identifying and controlling honeybee diseases and the management of disease
• Loading and unloading beehives during migratory time
• Driving the bees to the new location
• Checking and requeening beehives regularly
• Monitoring and maintaining the health and condition of the bees.
• Be competent in all facets of hive management and hive splitting.
• Building beehives.

You will need the following to be successful for this role:

• Must be living in Australia (the position is in Gundagai area) 
• Must have commercial beekeeping experience.  Must be able to load and unload beehives. 
• Prepared for an immediate start.
• Good communication skills
• Drivers licence
• HC Truck Licence
• Forklift Licence would be an advantage
• Fit and healthy
