About The role
Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, the Production Manager – Concrete and Steel Fabrication is a multi-faceted role responsible for the concrete and steel fabrication operations overseeing the daily management, sales, operational and financial activities. Role and Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day operations and making decisions that impact the overall performance of the business, including sales, financial reporting and managing costs within budget Accountability for safety, environment, and quality compliance Managing and lead logistic operational staff to achieve results Building and sustaining a highly capable and talented team Improve operating performance and reduce costs Engage with customers to generate new business to achieve business and sales goals. Conduct regular market analysis and gather market intelligence within your region
Skills and Experience
2 – 5 years’ experience in a management role, preferably within manufacturing or construction
Technical ability to read and interpret drawings
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management and techniques for maximising efficient manufacture of goods
A positive presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Passionate about delivering remarkable customer service and great results. A team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure. Highly resilient and adaptable to changing situations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills Be able to identify opportunities for improved operational efficiencies
