About the role

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator looking for consistent work, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to work across a variety of projects.

You will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently while supporting the wider site team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators across various worksites
• Carry out excavation, trenching, loading and general earthworks
• Assist with site preparation and clean-up
• Follow plans, site instructions and safety procedures
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any issues
• Work closely with other operators and site personnel
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Complete work efficiently and to a high standard
• Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience operating excavators
• Experience in civil, construction or earthmoving environments
• Strong understanding of safe operating procedures
• Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable work ethic and punctuality
• Ability to work independently when required
• Relevant tickets or licences
• White Card preferred
