We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our financial operations at Rockhampton Regional QLD. Full time – Permanent position available. $72000 per annum.

The Role

A senior accountant is responsible  for overseeing all aspects of a company’s accounting  operations including analysing complex financial data, preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards,managing accounting processes,and providing strategic financial insights to leadership, often mentoring junior accountants while maintaining timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key skills and Requirements

• Must be living in Australia with an easy reach to Rockhampton Regional QLD
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CA certification preferred
• Accounting experience is a must
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
