About the business and the role

The Monsour Clinic is a GP Clinic offering Holistic Care to patients of Maryborough and surrounds. The role of the Mental Health Nurse is to provide support and care to the patients of the clinic with Mental Health Plans in place. This includes coordinating appointments with appropriate Mental Health Professionals for these patients and provide support within the clinic.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The key roles and responsibilities of the role are:

• To provide support to the patients in their care


• To coordinate appointments with other Mental Health Professionals


• To provide support to ensure continued engagement with community


• To minimise the necessity for hospital admission

Skills and experience

• Current AHPRA registration as a nurse


• Previous experience in working with patients in Mental Health preferred, although not essential if the applicant has an interest in Mental Health.
