Job Description


Hype Electrical is a leading electrical contractor working in both the commercial and residential sectors. Established in 2010, we are experiencing unprecedented demand for our industry leading services and have plans in place to grow significantly, to enable us to provide more clients with our quality workmanship.


Integral to these growth plans is employing the best support staff possible, and we are currently seeking a suitably qualified administrator and bookkeeper candidate to join our growing team.


The role involves general administration tasks, using AroFlo our cloud based job management system, a strong knowledge of Xero as well as liaising directly with customers and supervisors.


In addition to proven relevant work experience we are looking for a well organised, practical individual with strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail and a desire for continuous improvement. You must have excellent communication skills, with an ability to build relationships with staff and clients alike. You will also display a high degree of initiative, independent thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously.


Is this role for you?



  • Are you an experienced administrator?

  • Do you have relevant experience with Xero or a similar accounting software?

  • Are you reliable, resourceful and very good with people?

  • Do you have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability?

  • Do you thrive working in a fast-paced environment?

  • Do you have great time management skills and work well under pressure?


It would be advantageous, but not essential to have experience with a cloud based job management system in particular AroFlo.
