We are buyers and sellers of all grades and all quantities of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals, we process the scrap ourselves and sell direct to end users making us completely independent of other scrap merchants.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The position requires a qualified and experienced Electrician for our Maintenance Team, who have previous experience; working on mobile and fixed plant equipment in a heavy industrial environment; previous experience with PLC (Allen Bradley/Seimens); fault finding and diagnostic experience; preventative maintenance, organisation and planning; the ability to deal with breakdown situations/requirements and meets and exceeds customer care; highly motivated; embraces the challenges of and has the proven ability to work to deadlines and dedicated to quality.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have previous hands on experience in:

• Fixed plant electrical repairs and fault finding on machine breakdowns


• Lighting and GPO installations,


• Mobile equipment minor electrical repairs


• Wiring of New installations 


• Working with maintenance crew (disconnecting/reconnecting conveyor motor wiring)


• Camera installations 


• Data cable installations 


• programming of new equipment


• PLC experience (Allen Bradley/Seimens) 


• Experience with VFD drives


• Ability to travel to other sell and parker sites as required to assist with electrical breakdowns

ABOUT YOU

• Australian recognised trade qualification


• Minimum four years' trade experience


• EWP Scissor/Boom Ticket


• Strong safety culture and the ability to complete Take 5's and JSA's


• Current unencumbered Driver's License 


• Punctual and Reliable


• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills


• Strong computer skills


• Commitment to Health and Safety


• Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens)


• Currently have the right to work in Australia


• Pass a Police Check
