Empire Transport are industry leaders in customer service, providing taxi truck services in the Melbourne Metro and regional Victorian areas.

We currently have a position available for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a Medium Rigid (MR) license, for immediate start. The role involves delivering around the Melbourne Metro areas and Regional Victoria. The work is varied and no two days are the same.

To be successful in your application, you will require excellent customer service skills, experience working in a multi-drop driving role and hold a great driving record. 

Working days: Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• Effectively and safely coordinate deliveries within Melbourne Metro and Regional Victoria


• Provide exceptional customer service to all clients


• Complete all delivery documentation in accordance with Company policy


• Ensure neat and clean presentation of vehicle and yourself


• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Chain of Responsibility, Mass Management and Fatigue Management requirements associated with this role.

What you’ll need:

• Current Medium Rigid (MR) driver’s license


• Proficient with load restraint equipment and techniques


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to problem solve on the run


• Flexibility in your work hours as required


• Reliable and punctual


• Ability to make a positive contribution within a team environment


• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
