Job Description


SOS Enterprises Pty. Ltd. is a small growing Registered Building Company located in Fremantle WA. Specialising in Building and Maintenance, a large majority of our work stems from government contracts e.g. new government stimulus program to all government schools.


An opportunity has arisen within our company for an Operations / Coordinator.


The position is part time, with the potential for full time hours.


Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):



  • Managing and assisting in day to day operations

  • Coordination and management of business operational activities both in house and sub-contractors

  • Manage, monitor & control  work order processes, resources and delegation of tasks from start to finish

  • Liaise between customer and management to ensure smooth efficient operations delivery and meet the expectations and needs of our clients

  • Provide leadership and create a positive culture and team environment

  • Ability to develop and maintain procedures for the work orders to ensure financial, contractual requirements are adhered to

  • Identifying and detailing opportunities associated with work orders

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers/sub-contractors

  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders 

  • Assume accountability and oversee all compliance, policies and provisions as they relate to work orders

  • Other duties as directed by the Managing Director


Required skills & experience:



  • Proven experience working within a similar role within the building and construction industry is essential

  • Understanding of OHS regulations and procedures

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure

  • A pro-active approach to resolving issues and excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills

  • Maintaining and building client relationships

  • Sound computer skills

  • Team player willing to work within a small team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
