Job Description

Community Living Association (CLA Inc) is seeking to employ a Counsellor and Therapist.

The position will be based in Nundah, however it will require willingness to provide outreach counselling to people in their local community and also phone/audio-visual counselling where required.

Degree in Social Work or Counselling. Accreditation in Mental Health Social Work would be welcomed but not a requirement.

Must have current driver’s license and access to private vehicle for work purposes, Blue Card, Yellow Card and NDIS Worker Orientation module.

It is our intention for the position to be full time, however we are willing to consider part time proposals.

CLA client base includes young people at risk and their families, persons with cognitive and or psycho-social disabilities and migrants and recent refugees.

SCHCADS Level 4. Mental Health Social Worker accreditation could secure higher remuneration.
