Local driver MC / part time operations supervisor

Full time work Sunday – Thursday

Operations 2 days

Driving 3 days

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and passionate “Part time supervisor / MC Local Driver” to join our family owned company.

This is a fast paced environment where your problem solving skills and can do attitude will be used at a high pace to ensure delivery of freight is ON TIME and ON TEMP.

About the role:

• Clean and tidy appearance


• Hold current MC Licence


• More than 1 year experience


• BFM preferred not essential


• AGE IS NO BARRIER


• Impeccable driving history


• Multi drop/pickup delivery experience


• Experience in refrigerated transport


• Be calm when working under pressure


• Ensuring a high quality is maintained in temperature control


• Conforming and complying to our company standards


• Strong geographical understanding of Adelaide


• Experience with accurate completion or related freight and truck paperwork


• Valid forklift licence


• Have strong communication skills


• Have extensive knowledge of WHS policies and accompanying procedures


• Willing to undergo pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening


• Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted working rights

Job tasks & responsibilities:

• Overall management of the depot facility on operations on 2 days  


• Highly focused on customer service and assistance where required


• Checking dock cleaning, temp probe, trailer cleaning, ensure they are completed as required


• Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our specialised freight locally


• Loading / unloading truck


• Yard duties


• Interior of trucks must be maintained and cleaned at all time – delegation to staff
