Job Description

About the business

Welcome to Explore and Soar, we are a community based occupational therapy (OT) company that spend their days on the road working with children and their families. The exploring and soaring never stops. We value strong relationships and connections within our team, other allied health professionals and our clients and their families. We are regularly in our clients home, schools and communities; committing to supporting them in their safe environment to achieve goals and outcomes within targeted timeframes.

We are excited to be opening a new location in Penrith and the local surrounds, continuing to share our values within the local areas. Explore and Soar is looking for the right team members to come and join our community. The days are spent on the road and in the local communities of our clients. Between sessions, we enjoy a café catch up, connecting with the locals, following up with our clients or check in with each other as we debrief and share our wins and goals we achieved of the session or day.

Our team is small and growing. We work hard, learn fast and play, play, play. In addition to our team of OT's, we have a strong group of allied health assistants. They support us in providing frequency and a range of different intervention modalities to achieve our clients and family's goals. Together, offering one on one, peer, and group sessions for our children and education seminars for both parents and teachers.

We have fortnightly team meetings together to connect, debrief, share ideas and knowledge with each other. We engage in additional training and professional development days both individually and as part of a team. We are passionate about individual support for a smooth transition into the new OT role where ee have developed outstanding onboarding training programs. Ongoing supervision with the Director is in place to ensure ease, confidence and in depth understanding of the daily running's no matter the location.
