About the role


In order to achieve the next phase of the development of the business, Style and Blooms is seeking to appoint a highly experienced Senior Florist / Business Manager. 


Initially, this position would commence on a permanent part time basis and could develop in a full time position based on the successful implementation of key strategies and the future requirements of the appointed Senior Florist / Business Manager.

Skills and experience


The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Managing Director to:



  • Continue to develop and implement policies and procedures in order to achieve best practices.

  • Engage with and successfully convert new event enquiries.

  • Manage and supervise other staff members.

  • Assist in the development of new strategies to expand the services and products offered. 

  • Assume management responsibilities for the day to day operations.


As this is a critical role for the business, the successful candidate must possess the following:



  • A minimum of 5 years of senior floristry and management experience within the wedding or events industry.

  • Be prepared to work Tuesdays through to Saturdays and some Sundays (approximately 25 hours per week)

  • Be professional, mature and understand the critical tasks to be completed in order to deliver a successful event.

  • Have prior product buying experience.

  • Be extremely well organised with a high degree of administration, customer service and communications skills.

  • Be able to demonstrate successfully converting enquiries into customers
