Job Description

We are seeking a factory worker for ongoing work in Malaga at a food manufacturing facility. We specialise in food powder blending, syrup making and the distribution of specialty food ingredients. The role will involve considerable production and some warehousing duties. This role is a permanent part-time position.

The following is involved but not limited to:

• Typically, 4 days within the standard work week Monday-Friday, as per production requirements.


• Take ownership of the production process of allocated products daily.


• Accurate measuring, mixing and packing of the products.


• Operation of related equipment.


• Read and understand instructions and complete the appropriate paperwork.


• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safe food handling methods in line with established food safety (HACCP) requirements.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.


• Load and unload trucks when required.


• Support the Operations Manager as required.

To be successful for this role, the candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment desirable.


• Ability to adhere to HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality principles.


• Ability to follow instructions in a production/process environment.


• Ability to perform physical duties with repetition – lifting up to 25kg.


• Flexible days of work and start times.


• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.


• Is dependable, a team player with good communication.


• High attention to detail.


• Good attitude and work ethic.


• Must hold a valid driver’s license.


• Must hold a valid forklift license.
