Vic Air Supplies is a Manufacturer and Supplier of Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation products serving all markets throughout Victoria. We pride ourselves on tailoring solutions for the benefit of our customers. With in-house production for Standard and Custom Sheet Metal, LightWeight Duct and Grilles & Diffusers we help our customers from Project Estimation to the final delivery of their product.


As the Project Estimation plays a pivotal role in the beginning of our Customer’s experience with our Company, we rely heavily on the knowledge, service and reliability of our Design Engineers. Vic Air Supplies is looking for a Design Engineer with industry experience to ensure that we can continue providing our Customers with the service they require.


Role


The mechanical design engineer will be responsible for the following



  • Producing mechanical HVAC design and documentation for your own projects

  • Manage commercial aspects of projects including cost estimating

  • Handling internal technical and design questions

  • Building on existing relationship with key builders and developers


Skills & Experience



  • Mechanical design engineering experience across a range of project sectors

  • Experience in running commercial projects

  • Working across an array of projects, preferably high rise residential and commercial

  • Working closely with clients and building strong relationships

  • Understanding the need for the productivity, efficiency, quality and agility

  • Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally

  • Will have a B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

  • A proven track record of commitment and reliability
