Weipa Bowls Club is located in a remote mining town in Cape York, Far North QLD and is currently seeking a Head Chef to join our team.

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated professional that is focused on being an integral member of the team.  Excellent leadership skills are a must and the ability to contribute to the continued growth of our Club.

To be considered for the position you must possess the following:

• At least 5 years experience in a similar role


• Ability to excel in a high volume, high pressure environment


• Passion for produce, innovation with food & maintain consistency


• A drive to elevate the clubs profile through outstanding product development and delivery


• Have all relevant industry certifications


• Ability to work autonomously and to budget


• Ability to lead and motivate your team effectively


• A strong interest in industry trends


• Maintain superior standards of product consistently


• Exceptional time management and organisational skills


• Customer focused

Reporting to the Secretary Manager, this role will require outstanding budgeting and reporting skills.  Generous remuneration package for the ideal professional offering subsidised accommodation.
